Werenbun Aboriginal Corporation wanted to improve its board’s understanding of governance, reporting obligations, and effective meeting procedures. As the organisation expanded its operations and entered into fee-for-service contracts, the board required confidence in navigating the requirements under ORIC and the National Indigenous Australians Agency (NIAA). The board members requested support to grow their skills and apply good governance in practice, not just on paper.

We also ensured the board understood its responsibilities for NIAA funding and helped plan reporting processes accordingly.
